Vista is here. 15 Feb 2007:
While we're still selling systems with Windows Xp Home, our most recent performance home computers now come with Windows Vista Home Premium edition. While Vista has maintained many Windows conventions, there are significant changes in this latest version that will take time to get used to. Windows Vista is noted for several main features:
-
It has been built with security and antipiracy concerns in mind.
-
Its new aero interface is visually appealing.
-
Super pre-fetch starts your programs faster.
-
Low power shutdown means a boot-up within a few seconds.
On the downside, Vista uses significantly more resources, so our Vista systems come with a minimum of 2Gb memory.

New CPU. 26 Sept 2006:
Nothing in history has developed as fast as computer technology, and here we go again. Intel has released it's latest CPU (Central Processing Unit) and it's taken the computing world by storm. The new Core 2 Duo processors are not only up to 40% faster, but also quieter and cooler.
We've tested the E6700 2.6Ghz on a Windows Vista beta computer, and have been impressed with the results. The Core 2 Duo features two processing cores, as opposed to Hyperthreading, and this allows more instructions per clock cycle to be processed. As prices level as the market saturates, you can be sure that the new generation of computers being built will deliver significant performance and power saving over earlier technologies.
Classic IT Support will use the Core 2 Duo in our quality business and gaming computers together with the Intel 965 and 975 chipset mainboards.
